Despite the advertised function of AnonFiles, which allows file sharing without user registration, the problem exists that I as a user cannot share files without logging in. This contradicts the indicated benefits of the platform and significantly limits its usability and accessibility. In particular, the comfort aspect of being able to share files directly without the hassle of registration is severely impaired. Furthermore, this issue also affects the perceived reliability and user-friendliness of the platform. Finally, this could deter users who do not want to disclose personal information for reasons of data security and privacy.
I cannot share files without registration.
To solve the problem, AnonFiles could expand its system to actually allow users to share files without registration. This could be achieved by implementing a simple "drag & drop" window on the homepage where users can drag their files. After uploading, users would only receive a link that they can share. Thus, neither a registration nor the provision of personal data would be necessary. This would make AnonFiles a truly anonymous and user-friendly platform where users can share large files without extra effort. The privacy of the users would be guaranteed and the accessibility of the platform greatly improved. Ultimately, this would also contribute to increasing the perceived reliability and user-friendliness of AnonFiles.
How it works
- 1. Go to the AnonFiles website.
- 2. Click on 'Upload your files'.
- 3. Choose the file you want to upload.
- 4. Click on 'Upload'.
- 5. Once the file is uploaded, you will get a link. Share this link for people to download your file.
